|Backstory
Mando dreamed as a young child to be one of the limited amount to leave the caverns. He wondered what the outside had looked like after having heard the stories of the elders, hearing stories of fields of endless green, bright blooming flowers, rays of sunshine, unique creatures and people that were unheard of to Mando. He worked tirelessly to possibly be chosen for the tribe, performing any task and learning anything he needed or wanted to. Their effort was clear. Though, his true love was dance, he would read and study any dance he could find or hear about.
|Current
As of today, he spends at least half of his time inside the caverns with the tribe, being with his people. Outside of the caverns though, he is usually in Kugane with his own business. His own dance studio! Often running classes of different kinds of dance, including the dance pole in the later hours. Sometimes even doing performances! He thoroughly enjoys sharing his love of dance as an art form with the people of the Far East. A home away from home!
|Djarin Tribe
A tall and lean Xaela tribe, adapted to being mostly in the caverns with lack of sunlight, leading them to be very pale. Most people of the tribe have lumbal rings with a light color to help see in the darker parts of the caverns. Most also have very sharp canine teeth that are very fang like.
The Djarin tribe often dyes their hair to embrace their uniqueness for special occasions.
|Tribe History
Over a few centuries ago, the Djarin tribe faced extinction due to being overpowered by the Jhungid as they were peaceful. To save themselves from being eradicated, they relocated into a great cavern system deep within Azim Steppe. The Tribe Elders, out of fear of being tracked down or spotted agreed upon limiting how many people would leave the caverns to only a few at one time. This rule has not been altered since it came into place. As they were mapping out their new home. They felt guided their body nearly being pulled to a grand room, with a large glowing crystal above an underground lake. It felt as if the crystal was guiding them throughout the caverns, guiding them to continue to be peaceful and to take refuge within.Today's tribe now has intricately carved homes into the cave faces, that have been cultivated for a few hundred years, growing when the tribe does. The Crystal has only been growing brighter and wiser, named Delkhiin Zürkh (Heart of the Earth). It is believed when a member passes away, they are taken to be a piece of the Heart, their energies and teachings able to be accessed from a collection of the Chosen Ones. The limited members of the tribe who are the chosen by the Crystal are considered to have more respect and are the teachers, gaining a piece of Delkhiin Zürkh to carry them through while wandering the land above and as a symbol of their status. The members of the tribe happily keep to their traditions of the arts, including dance, sculpting, and painting.
|Tribe Culture
Heart of the Earth - A aetheric crystal lighting over the caverns. The Chosen Ones are able to communicate with it, and some even able to manipulate the aether to heal others. Generally being used as a guiding source.
Gender - The Djarin tribe has never had a super solid concept of gender or gender roles. Multiple of the Djarin People have different varying sex charactersistics, which ones you get is dependent on genetics. Gender is quite fluid between masculine and feminine. Secondary sex charactistics often not following being Törökh or Töröögüi.
Törökh - has one or both female primary sex characteristics
Töröögüi - has male primary sex characteristics
Emegteileg - feminine look or energy
Eregteileg - masculine look or energy
Khüisgüi - either doesn't identify with masculine/feminine or indentifies with bothSexualities - Relationships mostly rely on personality over primary characteristics, but specific looks or energies can be preferred.
|Tribe Art
Since music is super important to the tribe, I would assume they would play with the echo of the caverns and how singing/instruments would bounce off of the walls. Think like an echo in a cathedral. The types of instruments they would have would be a few different kinds/range of flutes or wind instruments, percussion instruments (drums, brass bells, shells, rocks), and a couple string instruments, one being the Morin Khuur.
These are just examples or jewelry, pottery, paintings, some carvings.
|Djarin Caves
As there are underground rivers and lakes, there is an ability to grow rice and certain vegetables, as well as moss, lichen, and mushrooms. Some of these lakes even have fish and crustaceans that are carefully hunted as to not overhunt. Any other meat, vegatables, fruit not grown within the caves is brought down from the travelers of the tribe. Pockets rich of gold or bronze.
The Lycian Rock Tombs in modern day Turkey, intricately carved from the stone they are built in.
The City of Petra, the buildings/temples being released from the stone in such carvings that make it look like it had always been there.

|OOC
Hey there!I'm Ghosty outside of FF14, I use He/They pronouns. If you dont recognize where Mando's name comes from, it comes from the star wars, which is one of my hyperfocuses lol. I'm a nerd about it, I am sorry in advance if you open that can of worms. For Mando's character, since the Xaela are inspired by Mongolian culture I took some inspiration from that. For example, the Djarin genders are mongolian words.
I also have other characters, Feel free to check them out here!
Now to the serious stuffs, I do not tolerate shitty behaviour. I am just trying to enjoy myself, so do try not to ruin it for everyone.I do not tolerate homophobia, sexism, racism, transphobia, or xenophobia at all.
I also do not tolerate RP with minors or Lala's.Thank you for taking the time to read this. You are valid. You are appreciated. ❤️
Here is my discord as well if you would like to chat there!
